Galaxy pairs, groups, and clusters provide environments of higher galaxy density and with a progressively more important hot intergalactic medium.
We investigate the infall of gas from the group environment and as relicts of past interaction, the interaction of the galaxies with a widespread hot medium, and we search for intragroup starforming knots and intragroup magnetic fields.
Another area of our work are interacting galaxy pairs, where we analyse the transformation processes induced by tidal interaction.
