I am a professor of Observational Cosmology at the Ruhr-University Bochum<\/a>. My main field of research<\/a> is the weak gravitational lensing effect that is used to make dark matter structures visible. By analysing large imaging surveys of the sky we study the evolution of the Universe on the largest scales and gain unique insights into cosmological physics.<\/p>\n My research is supported by the European Research Council (ERC) and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft.<\/p>\n
