All participants of the splinter meetings must register for the general conference.

The science board welcomes contributions both on theoretical and observational aspects to any of the following inter-related subjects:

• outflows, cores and giant molecular clouds
• stellar masers and ultra-compact HII regions
• the formation of massive stars via accretion
• the formation of massive stars via collision
• pre-main sequence evolution of massive stars
• the formation of massive clusters and associations
• starbursts and global massive star formation

The LATEX macro for short contributions (abstract) can be found here. Please, send the duly prepared form (TEX together with EPS or PS for the images) both to Reinhard E. Schielicke (schie@astro.uni-jena.de) and Markus Nielbock (nielbock@astro.rub.de). The instructions can be found in the template. Short contributions (posters, splinter meeting talks) will be published in Astronomische Nachrichten 325 (2004), Supplement Issue 1 and handed out during the meeting.

The submission of an abstract does not include the registration.
